Itinerary
Upon your arrival at Cochin Airport or Railway Station, you will be met and begin your sightseeing tour. Explore the historic district of Fort Kochi, admire the iconic Chinese Fishing Nets that line the shore, and visit St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in India. Continue to the heritage-rich Mattancherry Palace (Dutch Palace), then stroll through the charming lanes of Jew Town to visit the Jewish Synagogue. Conclude your day with a peaceful walk along the scenic Marine Drive before checking in to your hotel. Overnight stay at Cochin.
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed to Alleppey (approx. 1.5-2 hour drive). Arrive by noon to board your traditional houseboat. Embark on a scenic cruise through the beautiful Vembanad Lake and the tranquil backwater canals. Drift past lush paddy fields, swaying coconut groves, and observe the serene village life along the banks. Traditional Kerala meals (lunch, dinner, and breakfast the next day) will be served on board. Enjoy the calm and beauty of the backwaters as you relax on the deck. Overnight stay on the houseboat.
After a final breakfast on the houseboat, check out by 9:00 AM. If time permits, you may choose to visit Alleppey Beach or explore the local markets for some last-minute souvenirs. Later, you will be transferred back to Cochin for your departure drop-off at the railway station or airport, carrying with you beautiful memories of your Kerala escape.
