Upon your arrival at Cochin Airport or Railway Station, meet your driver and begin the scenic 4-hour drive to Munnar. For those seeking a bit of adventure, optional stops at Dreamland or Wonder Valley amusement parks are available (at your own cost). Arrive in Munnar and check into your hotel for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, set out to explore the best of Munnar. Your tour includes visits to the scenic Mattupetty Dam, the serene Kundala Lake, and the famous Echo Point. Capture memories at the Photo Point, see gentle giants at the Elephant Arrival Spot, and learn about the local industry at the Tea Museum (Closed on Mondays). Later, proceed to Eravikulam National Park (Rajamalai) to spot the endangered Nilgiri Tahr and enjoy the panoramic views from Pothamedu View Point. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Enjoy breakfast and check out from your hotel. You'll then begin the scenic drive down to the backwater capital, Alleppey (Alappuzha). Upon arrival, you will embark on a memorable Shikara (Backwater) Cruise on the vast Vembanad Lake. For the next few hours, glide through narrow, palm-fringed canals, watch village life unfold on the banks, and see the lush green paddy fields of Kuttanad, the "Rice Bowl of Kerala." After the cruise, visit the Alleppey Beach before checking in to your hotel for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, check out and drive south towards the beach destination of Kovalam. En route, you will visit the awe-inspiring Jatayu Earth Center, home to the world's largest bird sculpture. This massive rock-cut sculpture of Jatayu, from the Ramayana, is not only an architectural wonder but also offers stunning panoramic views. Continue your drive and check into your hotel in Kovalam. The rest of the evening is yours to explore. Visit the famous Kovalam Beach, which is actually a crescent of three adjacent beaches: Hawa Beach (Eve's Beach), Lighthouse Beach, and Samudra Beach. Climb the Kovalam Lighthouse for a spectacular view of the coastline. Overnight stay in Kovalam.
