These Terms & Conditions govern the use of our website, travel services, holiday packages, transportation services, accommodation bookings, and all related services offered by our company. By accessing our website, communicating with us, making payments, or confirming a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

All services are subject to availability and operational conditions at the time of booking.

3. Booking Policy

3.1 Booking Confirmation

  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation from our team.
  • A booking will be treated as confirmed only after the required advance payment is received and written confirmation is issued by Chalo Kerala Holidays LLP.
  • Customers must carefully review the itinerary, inclusions, exclusions, pricing, travel dates, and passenger details before confirming the booking.

3.2 Advance Payment

  • Advance payment is mandatory for confirming any travel package, hotel, resort, houseboat, or vehicle booking.
  • The advance amount and balance payment schedule will be specified in the quotation shared with the customer.
  • Failure to make payments within the agreed timeline may result in automatic cancellation of the booking without prior notice.

3.3 Accuracy of Information

Customers are responsible for providing accurate:

  • Passenger names
  • Contact information
  • Travel dates
  • Pickup details
  • Identification documents
  • Special requests

The company shall not be liable for issues arising from incorrect information provided by the customer.

4. Package Pricing, Inclusions & Exclusions

  • All package costs are based on the services specifically mentioned in the quotation or itinerary.
  • Any service not explicitly mentioned under “Inclusions” shall be treated as excluded.
  • Prices may vary depending on:
    • Seasonal demand
    • Hotel availability
    • Fuel price fluctuations
    • Government tax revisions
    • Transportation charges
    • Festival or peak season supplements

4.1 Package Inclusions

The package may include selected combinations of:

  • Accommodation
  • Daily breakfast or meals
  • Transportation
  • Sightseeing
  • Houseboat stay
  • Transfers
  • Driver allowance
  • Toll and parking charges (if specified)

4.2 Package Exclusions

Unless specifically mentioned, packages generally do not include:

  • Airfare or train tickets
  • Entry tickets to attractions
  • Personal expenses
  • Laundry charges
  • Medical expenses
  • Tips and porter charges
  • Camera fees
  • Additional sightseeing
  • Travel insurance
  • Adventure activities
  • GST or other taxes if applicable separately

Customers are advised to refer to the quotation for complete details.

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Accepted Payment Methods

We accept multiple domestic and international payment methods including:

  • UPI
  • Net Banking
  • Credit Cards
  • Debit Cards
  • Payment Links
  • Bank Transfers
  • International Transfers

5.2 Payment Responsibility

  • Any bank charges, gateway charges, currency conversion fees, or international transaction charges shall be borne by the customer unless otherwise agreed.
  • Delayed payments may result in cancellation or price revision.

6. Cancellation & Refund Policy

6.1 Cancellation Charges

50% of package cost
Cancellation within 7 days of arrival

6.2 Peak Season & Special Conditions

  • Cancellation policies may vary during:
    • Peak tourist seasons
    • Festival holidays
    • Long weekends
    • Christmas/New Year periods
    • Special events
    • Certain luxury resorts or houseboats

Any special cancellation conditions applicable to a booking will be communicated in the quotation or booking confirmation.

6.3 Refund Processing

  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed after deducting applicable cancellation charges and supplier penalties.
  • Refund timelines may vary depending on banks, payment gateways, hotels, resorts, or international transaction processing times.

7. Amendments & Modification

  • Any request for changes to travel dates, hotels, itinerary, vehicle type, or passenger details is subject to availability and additional charges.
  • Amendment requests must be made in writing via email or official communication channels.
  • Last-minute amendments may not always be possible.

8. Hotel, Resort & Houseboat Policies

8.1 Standard Timing

  • Standard hotel and resort check-in/check-out timings apply unless otherwise mentioned.
  • Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

8.2 Accommodation Categories

  • Hotels and resorts are selected based on category and availability.
  • In case of non-availability, similar category accommodation will be provided.

8.3 Houseboat Conditions

  • Houseboats generally operate as per local tourism regulations and weather conditions.
  • Air-conditioning timing restrictions may apply in certain houseboats as per Kerala tourism guidelines.
  • Houseboat routes may change depending on water levels, weather, and government regulations.

9. Transportation, Vehicle Policy

9.1 Vehicle Usage

  • Vehicle usage is strictly as per the itinerary and duration mentioned in the package.
  • Extra usage beyond agreed hours or kilometers will be charged additionally.

9.2 Additional Charges

The following may attract extra charges unless included:

  • Interstate permits
  • Parking fees
  • Toll charges
  • Additional sightseeing
  • Driver night allowance
  • Airport parking charges

9.3 Driver Conduct

Customers are expected to maintain respectful behaviour towards drivers and staff. Misconduct, intoxication, abusive behaviour, or unlawful activities may result in immediate termination of services without refund.

10. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Carrying valid government-issued identification during travel
  • Arriving on time for transfers and sightseeing
  • Protecting personal belongings
  • Following local laws and regulations
  • Respecting hotel and property rules
  • Ensuring health fitness for travel activities

The company shall not be responsible for missed services due to delays caused by the customer.

11. Travel Risk & Liability

Chalo Kerala Holidays LLP acts only as an intermediary between travelers and third-party service providers including hotels, resorts, transport operators, and houseboat operators.

We shall not be liable for:

  • Injury or accidents
  • Loss of luggage or valuables
  • Delays or cancellations
  • Natural disasters
  • Landslides or floods
  • Political disturbances
  • Road closures
  • Mechanical breakdowns
  • Weather-related disruptions
  • Actions of third-party service providers

Customers participate in adventure or water-related activities entirely at their own risk.

12. Force Majeure

The company shall not be held responsible for failure or delay in performance due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural calamities
  • Floods
  • Heavy rains
  • Landslides
  • Pandemic situations
  • Government restrictions
  • Civil unrest
  • Strikes
  • Transportation shutdowns
  • Acts of God

In such situations, refunds or alternatives will be subject to the policies of the respective service providers.

13. Website Usage

Users of our website agree:

  • Not to misuse the website
  • Not to copy or reproduce website content without written permission
  • Not to use the website for fraudulent activities
  • Not to attempt unauthorized access to company systems

All logos, branding materials, photographs, videos, content, and designs belong to Chalo Kerala Holidays LLP and are protected by intellectual property laws.

Customer information collected during inquiries or bookings will be used only for operational, communication, and booking purposes. We do not sell or disclose personal data to unauthorized third parties except where necessary for providing travel services or where required by law.

15. Dispute Resolution & Jurisdiction

Any dispute, legal matter, or claim arising out of services provided by Chalo Kerala Holidays LLP shall be subject exclusively to the jurisdiction of courts located in Ernakulam, Kerala, India.

16. Acceptance of Terms

By confirming a booking, making payment, or using our website/services, the customer confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions in full.
